Proposal Package Assessment

I can provide written developmental feedback on your full book proposal package—your sample chapters as well as the proposal itself—through a Proposal Package Assessment. 

I provide suggestions for your proposal and each of your sample chapters through written feedback (4–6 pages of bullet points). I offer concrete suggestions to help you craft a persuasive proposal. I also provide some feedback on your book’s overall argumentation and organization, since the book proposal gives me a window into the structure of your book as a whole. Additionally, I use the Comments feature of Microsoft Word to add some micro-level queries and suggestions directly to your proposal and chapters.

Even if you aren’t trying to submit a proposal package right away, if you’re looking for intensive feedback on 1–3 chapters and big-picture feedback on your project, the proposal package assessment might fit your needs.

The Proposal Package Assessment includes an hour-long follow-up call.

Once you have made a round of revisions after receiving my proposal package assessment, I can provide follow-up edits (structural editing and/or line editing).
