Live Zoom Calls for Each Section

Below are the weekly meeting times for the two sections of Crafting Your Scholarly Book. Recordings of the intro calls and Q&A calls will be provided in the private forum for the workshop.

Section 1

Mondays: 11:30–12:45 EDT (10:30–11:30 am CDT, 8:30–9:30 am PDT).

  • The “intro call”: an introduction to the week’s workbook chapters and sharing of challenges and discoveries from the previous week’s workbook exercises. Beginning in week 3, the intro calls will also include “mini-presentations” focused on various topics related to book revisions or the publishing process. I highly recommend attending live, but a recording of the session will be provided.

  • An optional 15-minute support & accountability session will immediately follow the intro call. Participants can set writing goals for the week & discuss their previous week’s goals.

Tuesdays: 11:30 am–12:45 pm EDT (10:30–11:45 am CDT, 8:30–9:45 am PDT)

  • Optional co-writing session.

Thursdays: 11:30 am–12:45 pm EDT (10:30–11:45 am CDT, 8:30–9:45 am PDT)

  • Group coaching sessions on alternating weeks and Q&A sessions on alternating weeks. (The Q&A session will wrap up by 12:30 EDT and will be followed by a 15-minute block that can be booked for individual consultations.) If you can’t attend the Q&A calls live, you can email me questions to answer during the session; a recording of the Q&A session will be provided.

Because evenings are tricky for me (and this section will run in the evening my time), this section will not include the cowriting sessions. I will see whether participants would like to organize their own cowriting session.

Of course, any participants in this section who are able to attend Section 1’s cowriting session are welcome to do so.
